Patient and Client Records
The information we collect about clients and patients is confidential and protected. As such, any details regarding individual patients, including health updates or access to medical records, can only be shared with the registered owner on file in our system.
To update ownership information or transfer an animal to a new owner (in cases of sale or re-homing), the original owner(s) on file must request the change. Once approved, all relevant patient records will be transferred to the new owner’s account. If multiple owners are listed, all parties must approve the change.
Patient information can be shared if the owner on record provides consent, such as when granting permission to send records to another clinic or to a family member. Similarly, we can request records from another clinic on behalf of our clients, provided we have the client’s consent.
