Arrivals & Departures

Small Animal (Cats/Dogs)

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment:

  • Dogs must be securely leashed, and cats must be in carriers or harnesses—both in the parking lot and inside the clinic.

  • Clients should ask permission before approaching another pet to respect individual comfort levels.

  • If needed, we provide leashes or carriers—clients can request one upon arrival.

  • For bathroom breaks, poop bags are available at the front desk, and we ask clients to clean up after their pets.

Large Animal (Horses/Cows)

For the safety and efficiency of our operations, equine and bovine patients are seen in a dedicated treatment area, separate from the small animal entrance.

  • Check-in Procedure: Upon arrival, large animal clients must check in at the front desk before proceeding to the treatment area. This ensures we can safely manage the flow of patients, as another large animal may already be in the process of being treated, loaded, or unloaded.

  • Safe Unloading: Once checked in, our reception staff will confirm when it is safe to drive around to the large animal entrance, where our veterinary team will meet the client and direct unloading.

  • Staff Assistance & Safety: While our team is happy to assist with unloading and guiding animals into the stocks or chute, our staff’s safety remains a priority. If an animal is particularly fractious or uncooperative, we may require additional handling equipment or client assistance to ensure a smooth and safe process.
