Telemedicine
Telemedicine enhances remote care by providing follow-ups, minor consultations, and prescription renewals when an in-person visit is not immediately possible.
How Telemedicine Supports Remote Care
Enables virtual check-ins for ongoing conditions, post-treatment monitoring, and medication refills.
Provides guidance on minor health concerns when an in-clinic visit isn’t feasible.
Helps determine if an in-person exam is necessary for further diagnostics or treatment.
Eligibility & Limitations
A valid VCPR (recent in-person exam or herd health consultation) is typically required for telemedicine services.
In exceptional cases, a VCPR may be established through telemedicine if an in-person exam is not possible.
Telemedicine cannot replace physical exams, new diagnoses, or emergency care.
If a hands-on assessment is needed, an in-person appointment will be required.
Appointments & Fees
Telemedicine consultations are by appointment only and require prepayment.
Fees are non-refundable, even if an in-person visit is required after the consultation.
